Your cousin, Lorraine, is getting married. You're invited to her wedding and it's a beautiful ceremony. After that you head to the reception and dinner. You sit at your assigned table and you see you've been placed with your cousin, Jacquelyn, her boyfriend, Eduardo, her sister, Frances, and her sister's boyfriend, Guillermo.

You're all just a little tipsy, but as the night goes on and as the open bar progresses, most of the guests are pretty drunk, including you and your cousins. You don't see them that often, and you aren't particularly close, but you resonate with Jackie and her sister.

The rest of the family is what you expect, but these girls and their mother are sort of the black sheep of the family. They're rebels. They tend not to do what is expected of them and you sort of like that--because you yourself are that way. After a while, Jackie comes up to you to talk.
