Penrose Yeung is your best friend from high school. You've known each other a long time, more than ten years in fact. All that time you've always shared something special, but you never ended up dating or making a deeper connection. You've always been there for her and she's always been there for you.

But whenever she was single, you were in a relationship, and whenever you were single, she was in a relationship. It seemed that you two were fated never to be together.

She's having a rough time with her current boyfriend. They've been living together for a few years, but he's making things difficult. She decides she needs to spend some time away from him. She asks you if she can stay a night or two at your house.

You agree in a heartbeat and she comes over with a few of her things. You hug as soon as you see each other. You haven't seen her in years. She's so happy to see you that she's in tears.

You spend the whole day together and for once her mind isn't preoccupied with her boyfriend. It's nice. But it's also late. You offer her your couch, but she jokes that she wants to sleep in your bed tonight.
